The European Project Space at PROFES 2019  provides an opportunity for researchers involved in ongoing and/or recently completed research projects (national, European and international) related to the topics of the conference to present their projects and disseminate the objectives, deliverables, or outcome.

3rd International Workshop on Managing Quality in Agile and Rapid Software Development Processes

QuASD, the International Workshop on Managing Quality in Agile & Rapid Software Development Processes, aims at investigating product and process quality in the context of agile and rapid software development. The objective of the workshop is to exchange challenges, experiences, and solutions among researchers and practitioners in the aforementioned area to bring agile and rapid software development processes a step further to seamless integrating quality management activities into their practices.

The event purpose is two-fold. On the one hand, to give the opportunity to interested companies to present some aspect of their work (way of working, a concrete product, etc.) related to the topics of the conference. On the other hand, to put in contact academics and practitioners that may be interested in share experiences and look for synergies and even concrete collaborations.

The Hackathon is a Satellite event of the TOOLS50+1 Conference. It includes a list of challenges from different projects to be solved by teams of undergraduate students. Q-Rapids presents one of those challenges aiming at extending the Q-Rapids platform with new technical ideas and subsequent implemented solutions from external developers.

The first IEEE International Workshop on Data-driven System Quality Assurance (DSQA) had the goal of exploring the potential of data-driven system quality assurance while understanding and pointing out possible (or proved) solutions to these challenges. This one-day event was closely related to Q-Rapids, with one tutorial on software analytics and one presentation on prediction models given by Q-Rapids' researchers. item about? The event provides an opportunity for company practitioners and researchers to share their experiences, challenges or topics for the future work in the field of software engineering. The event serve as a unique forum where stakeholders from academia and industry can showcase their activities, learn from each other, discuss cross-cutting issues and develop joint visions for the future.

The workshop on Quality Requirements in Agile Projects (QuaRAP) aims at investigating the current challenges that ASD teams face when dealing with QRs in their projects and at proposing new solutions to integrate QR into ASD. In tune with this year’s conference theme, submissions demonstrating and discussing the practical impacts (e.g., reduced time to market, reduced maintenance efforts, faster reaction on customer issues) are particularly welcome.

What's this item about? The CSRSQ workshop has the goal of exploring the conflicts and synergies among Reliability, Security and other Qualities. As part of this general goal, the nature of software qualities themselves is also of interest. Last advancements in research and current state of the practice will be put together in order to better comprehend the forces behind these interactions. What makes it interesting? 

SQUADE focuses on increasing our understanding of the nature of Software Qualities (SQs - e.g., reliability, usability, affordability, etc.), their interrelationships, and on bringing them into balance in the practice of software engineering. This workshop aims to bring together SQ researchers and practitioners to support more solid foundations in the task of dealing with SQs and their dependencies.

The 2nd International Workshop on Just-In-Time Requirements Engineering: Dealing with Non-Functional Requirements in Agile Software Development will be organised in conjunction with RE'17 on Tuesday, September 5th, 2017. The workshop aims to gather researchers and practitioners to share their experiences, forge new collaborations, and provoke innovative ways to tackle just-in-time requirements. Paper submission is open until the 9th of June 2017.
